Bassist Catherine Popper has performed and recorded with tons of folks, including Jack White, Halsey, Levon Helm, Willie Nelson, The Duke Ellington Band, Ryan Adams and the Cardinals, Jason Isbell, Norah Jones, Boy George, Tony Rice, Tommy Stinson, Alejandro Escovedo, She and Him, Jesse Malin, Brian Fallon (Gaslight Anthem). She has also played in Broadway pits and on many movie and TV soundtracks. She released her first singles, “Maybe It’s All Right” and “Breath” (a Pere Ubu cover) on Velvet Elk Records in 2020. She’s more excited to do this show than any of this other stuff here.
